CompView is an interactive visualization tool that is being developed for identifying and visualizing conserved syntenic blocks (homologous chromosome segments and homologs) across multiple related genomes simultaneously. Users can switch between CompView and MapView and start with a gene or region of interest in searching for related information. Once fully implemented, CompView will provide users with timely genomic information across species beyond genera and families.
